Technically, I'd started riding again in January and had logged a little more than 300 miles by the time we did this ride, but this was the first time I had the company of a group--which is always so fun.
I met Deb and Steve at the Middleburg library where Deb and I promptly peed behind the building. There was a truck there that looked like someone was living in it, so I may have given them a show but really, who cares, because how good could that show be?
The next time we do this ride I need to make a record of the route because it's so beautiful. And for the record, it's about 25 miles.
Here is a portrait of my most trusted friend on these rides. :)
And here is another most trusted friend! (not listed in order of importance!)
We passed this beautiful home/campus. Couldn't tell exactly what it was but it had security cameras and what looked like trip wires around the perimeter, so we didn't get too close. I, of course, was afraid they would set the dogs on us at any moment.!
It's funny, folks in the country are supposed to be so nice. I think that must be just the farmers. Rich country folk do not lay out the welcome mat.
And so those are all my pics. Steve Lane, why are you not in any of my photos? I promise to get you next time!
